The Left Behind

This picture is taken in the Village Shishkat Gojal of Hunza, This particular place is the junction of the river which falls into the Shishkat Attabad lake. in summers the level of water in lake goes high and low in the fall and winter seasons. the areas where the river falls in the lake, the clay soil goes down because of the stillness of water in lake, and in fall when water level in the lake goes down the higher land areas becomes visible and this clay layer gets dry, and hence gets cracks, i called this particular broken clay disks the left Behind.
